Saviour of All Men

Seventh-day Adventists believe “God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ.... Forever truly God, He became also truly man.” But what kind of human nature did He assume? The answer of this book is that He assumed our corporate fallen sinful nature, indwelt by the law of sin and death. This qualified Him to be man’s substitute and the “Saviour of all men.”Despite this, He lived a perfect, sinless life, and finally redeemed that fallen nature through His Cross; in this victory is the basis of Atonement as well as Christian living. This truth was an essential part of that most precious message that God brought to his church in 1888; a message that was the “beginning” of the latter rain and the loud cry.
