Waiting for Trains (Train Series by S. Lea)

Second in a series, this book is for busy parents facing the challenges of raising a child on the spectrum, and more specifically, a child with an Asperger’s diagnosis. Each chapter is a quick easy read, addressing a specific topic. Each chapter closes with a suggestion based on discoveries and techniques that led a child down the road to success. The focus of this second book in the series is life at school. In addition to containing valuable information, the book is wonderfully illustrated and often quite entertaining. It is a ‘breath of fresh air’ in a category filled with memoirs, biographies and textbooks.
