Catherine McCarthy's A MOONLIT PATH OF MADNESS, After the death of her mother, Grace Morgan inherits a longcase clock with a broken moon dial and a house by the sea in Wales. But those are not all she inherits, for the curse that befalls her family line refuses to relinquish its grip. It tells the story of a young woman haunted by events in her family's past. Set in the early 20th century, the novel opens in Vermont, then moves to the seaside parish of Newport on the West Wales coast, where the supernatural lurks in the moonlit shadows.
