Living Beyond Myself: An Out-of-body Testimony

Living Beyond Myself is about the countless obstacles Roger Beukema has faced in his life, from the discovery of his congenital heart disease as a young boy to being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis as an adult, and everything along the way. While only ten, Roger underwent his second open heart surgery, during which he went into cardiac arrest. During that time he was brought on a brief yet wonderful trip to heaven. His experience, though hidden from the world until now, has guided his life ever since and has helped him handle the tough situations life has thrown his way.
