A Case of Dom Perignon: from the Victorian Carriage mystery series

President Teddy Roosevelt challenges King Edward VII of England to a shooting match, wagering a case of fine vintage champagne as the prize, but gets more than he bargained for when Irish terrorists target him and the king in a series of assassination. City of Hull Inspector Herbert Bradnum draws the unenviable task of protecting both the king and president while investigating assaults, shootings and bombings directed at them. The deeper into the case he gets, the more Inspector Bradnum is convinced there’s plenty more danger ahead for the two in the form of a seemingly unstoppable assassin.
