Betteken's Refuge

Persecution has come to the city of Antwerp. It is 1573, and being an Anabaptist is forbidden in the Netherlands. Betteken Wens, daughter of an Anabaptist minister, fears that the local priest will discover her father's secret ministry. When Betteken's mother is captured and imprisoned for her faith, Betteken struggles with fear and uncertainty, but eventually finds refuge and peace in God. Historical fiction.
