Michael Khazin was born and lived in Moldova, worked in Moldova Republick’s literary magazine. He is the author of number of books of prose, journalism, poetry. His work on Pushkin "Your rumor filled this limit ..." was highly appreciated by such famous Pushkinists as T.G. Tsyavlovsky, D.D. Blagoy, S.S. Geychenko, N.Ya. Adelman. M. Khazin was a chairman of the Pushkin society of Moldova.
He continues his writing after moving to Boston. His work often publish in Russian, Yiddish, and English-language press. During his years in USA he published his book "Jewish happiness", and a collection of poems "For the road."
Current book includes his new works - short stories, an essay about a psychiatric hospital and its inhabitants "Kostyuzheny (From Prince Mirsky to pogromshshik Krushevan"), memoirs essays about Tvardovsky, Okudzhava, Pozhenyan and other writers and artists.
