Father, Forgive Them: Christ's Seven Words from the Cross

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do" was the first of the seven words that the Lord Jesus Christ spoke from the Cross. In this booklet, His Holiness Pope Shenouda III (1923-2012), the 117th Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Saint Mark, contemplates each of the Lord's seven words in turn, starting with "Father, forgive them" through the Lord's final word, "Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit."
