Questionable Ethics: A Mel Addison Mystery

The daughter of a cop growing up in a small town with three bothers… well, yeah, Mel was a little wild. Still, that was years ago, before marriage, before moving away to the ‘big’ city, before her son, and before the traffic accident that killed her husband and child. Now back in Quincy, IL to start again or heal or escape, Mel gets a gun in her face on the first day of work, answering phones for her brother. Soon Mel is investigating a murder and more. And in the middle of painful memories and adventure there is a handsome new cop in town with an eye for Mel.
