"Don't Touch" has been drilled into the author for her whole life. She was told that you must treat books with respect Now in this age of non-reading, books aren't as important as they used to be. But to the author and to many readers, they still are. Readers have to start loving books at a young age and this is this author's way of helping kids love books. "Don't Touch" is a humorous way to look at books for very young children. The author owns one of the largest independent book publishing companies in the southwest. Working in the book community for over 30 years, Barbe Awalt has won countless awards for her books. This is 16th book that she has written or co-written. She is also the co-founder of the New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards.
