"Jelly and the Donuts" is the first book in the series " Life with the Donuts." The family lives in Donut Town, USA. The children and the parents deal with family and individual issues that are current today. The stories are told in a humorous fashion that all children between 3-8 can identify with .In  this book, Jelly , the main character, is teased because he is rounder than the other donuts. He decides he wants to change and learns how to make healthy choices. He must learn how to change.
