God's Unfolding Kingdom A Survey Of The Old Testament

This Old Testament survey moves beyond multiple stories about God’s love and collates them into one compelling story of God’s kingdom being established on earth. Students are similarly challenged to move beyond merely knowing about God’s kingdom to participating in God’s kingdom. Topics included in this study are The Pentateuch, Israel's History, Writings of Ancient Israel, History of the Fall and Exile of Israel, and the Prophets. The four-color soft cover student textbook encourages whole class participation. An overview of the kingdom of God theme runs throughout the curriculum and introduces students to God’s kingdom mission to the Israelites to multiply holy people and to spread holy place.The lessons have been crafted to include more academically challenging material that is engaging for Grade 9–12 students. High schools will appreciate the sound Reformed theology and the multiple opportunities for relevant personal application.
