The Rabbi Wore Moccasins
Description:
The Rabbi Wore Moccasins tells the story of a California rabbi/lawyer who is invited to a sweat lodge experience, and eventually becomes involved with the legal rights of the Native American group. Then, a spiritual leader confesses to the murder of his wife, and the group asks the rabbi to represent him. The rabbi's concern over the ethics of representing a confessed murderer begin to fade after he learns about the involvement of people from the tribal casino and the corruption of one of its directors. The resolution of the crime leads to his resolving some of the conflicts in his own life, and he finds a new integration of spirituality in his life.
