Growing Together in Christ (Adult Bible Study Guide, Large Print)

Growing Together in Christ is intended to help a church and its members focus on the opportunities and obligations of the Christian life and of members' life together. This study can be used in many ways to enhance the life of a church. Its prime use is in the church's ongoing Bible study program, but other possibilities include use as a study for a new church start and as a study for a new member.Growing Together in Christ begins at the beginning. The first unit focuses on "beginning the Journey" and is a study of the beginning of the Christian life. The second unit, "Growing in Christ," emphasizes six disciplines that prepare the way for the growth in the Christian life that god wants to give Christians. These disciplines both enhance one's individual growth in Christ and also build up the church. The study moves next to consider some priorities a church should emphasize, as exemplified by the experience of the early church in Acts 2:42-47. This third unit is titled " Growing Together."
