The Priest And the Nazi
Description:
What is truth? The soul of good and evil is presented in two characters: a Nazi SS officer fleeing Germany right after the end of the war and the Catholic priest he encounters. The Nazi is a perpetrator of the holocaust, one who pulled the trigger and opened the valves. Now a fugitive, he wants the Church to aide his escape to South America. The priest is a good man who believes in Church doctrine, but he is trapped in his little parish and yearns for privileges and denied indulgences. They strike a bargain, and in a test of wills, they find themselves on equal footing: fallible human beings who seek the essentials for their lives. Their paths cross toward corruption and forgiveness, defining their journey and ultimately their fate.
