Being the only minister and family in Summit County of Colorado had challenges and joys beyond what they ever imagined possible. "When God called me to be a missionary I was afraid I'd never be able to learn a foreign language. Then God put me in the position of being a missionary in my own homeland," said Harold. The Thompson's built the Rocky Mountain Mission in the tiny town of Frisco, Colorado which included building a log chapel with sawdust floor, church building, and dormitory. Over the period of the next 16 years they held annual Bible conferences, camps for young people, and all-summer camps for boys from broken homes. This is the story of their remarkable faith, and their total obedience in their walk with God.
