Some know Turk as a champion bronc rider, one of the very few to ride the notorious Midnight and then Five Minutes to Midnight, who was eventually inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Western Heritage Center. Others seem only to remember his short marriage to Sally Rand, the well known fan dancer.
