The amazing groundbreaking databases that form the basis of our human anatomy publishing offerings have been created with cutting-edge high-resolution digital scanning technologies that have achieved the ideal of anatomical representation -- recreating visually the exact forms of the body and all its parts. Derived from the National Library of Medicine's Visible Human Project, these images are the first three-dimensional computer-generated reconstruction of an actual human body.
