1 Thessalonians (Joy of Living Bible Studies)

Each lesson contains a commentary and a week s daily study questions (except for the final lesson which contains the final commentary only.)The apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Christians in Thessalonica. During his visit to them sudden persecution arose, and the believers had sent him away for his safety. Paul wrote to these new converts from paganism to encourage them in their trials, to instruct them in godly living, to urge some not to neglect daily work, and to give assurance concerning the future of believers who die before Christ returns.
