Superior Journey: Diary of A Dream

Superior Journey: Diary of a Dream is the story of a woman who faces many losses and struggles in mid-life and gives up on her life-long dream to hike a transcontinental trail in the United States. But as she approaches her fiftieth birthday, the dream comes suddenly to life in a new way and she decides to backpack the 200-mile Superior Hiking Trail above Lake Superior in northeastern Minnesota. The author weaves together many trail adventures, the love of wilderness, and the lives of five women as they all reassess the directions their lives are taking. Superior Journey combines a personal exploration of the importance of life dreams and the frequent need to reframe such dreams or lose them altogether.
