H. M. Pope Hartford 1887-1901

The books are two volumes Vol. 1 (244 pages), Vol. 2 (280 pages). Sold only as a set. Long awaited and years in the making. Covers the Hartford period only. Stevens Pope and Jersey Pope will be covered in future books. The books include a biography of Pope through 1901 when he went to work for the Stevens Arms and Tool Company. A large number of rifles are shown, as well as comments on reported examples. Also shown is a large section on Pope accessories, such as powder measurers, machine rests, bullet molds, etc.
