Fresh out of the country, Yuu Aimu is a young student ready to make it on his own in the big city, but the only boarding house he can afford includes some rather spooky neighbors... and a young female ghost for a roommate! It's just as well that Yuu's finally used to living with the wacky residents of Yaninarisou, because he's never able to escape them! They follow him everywhere, including a trip back to Yuu's family in the mountains, giving his ever-present companions a glimpse of his family's own bizarre traits.
