ETO Memories - European Theater of Operations - WWII

This is an account of one young American soldier's experience in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) during the final months of World War II. The narrative is a series of anecdotes about people and events and the setting in which the tale unfolds. It is a story of civilians in uniform, young men struggling to perform their military duty and of the entire range of human behavior from selfless devotion to duty and their comrades to the other extreme of selfishness, greed and depravity.
