The Bee-Attitudes

"The character which the Beatitudes depict is essentially that of Jesus Christ... He is poor in spirit, a mourner, meek, mild and lowly in heart. He hungers for the supremacy of righteousness, is merciful, pure in heart and suffers for righteousness sake. Yet none of these virtues are cultivated at the expense of another in the Prince of Peace. "The Beatitudes are a statement of the life Jesus describes as walking in the Spirit. A life we can live when the Holy Spirit has His way with us. ... "In these nine Beatitudes Jesus answers the question "what kind of people should we be?"
