On October 12, 2002 Bali seemed to have crumpled overnight, when hundreds of tourists and locals who were enjoying themselves became victims of a horrific act. Two bombs took the lives of 202 people- 88 of whom were Australians, and severely injured many more.As an Indonesian journalist working in Australia, Dewi is in a unique position to observe and understand how the tragedy of the Bali bombing has played out in Australia, in Bali and elsewhere in Indonesia.
