Each story in this collection begins with an undesirable or out-of-balance situation and, through the use of metaphor and an imaginative story, leads to a more desirable resolution. In this way, the stories also have the potential for nurturing positive values.

Following the alphabet from A to Z, the behavior is identified within the story titles―anxious, bossy, cranky, greedy, jealous, lazy, swearing, lack of cooperation, and more. These stories can be told as-is or adapted to the situation.
