Luchadoras

Since 1993, Ciudad Juarez, a Mexican border city on the Rio Grande, has attracted global attention as the tragic scene of hundreds of feminicidios - violent and often unexplained murders of females aged 12 to 22. As of publication, many of these cases still remained unsolved. Luchadoras imagines life amongst these horrifying events, with the explicit hope that the book will help in the fight against machismo and misogyny and contribute to a change in mentality.
