Criminal Litigation: Practice and Procedure provides a thorough and practical guide to all areas of law and practice with which the aspiring criminal litigator needs to be familiar. Criminal Litigation: Practice and Procedure has been written on the basis that all the provisions in the Criminal Justice Act 2003 are in force (most provisions not yet in force are due to come into force in Autumn 2006) and provides full coverage of the new allocation procedures and the increased sentencing powers of the magistrates' court. The appendix contains extracts from PACE Codes of Practice, Criminal Procedure Rules 2005 and the Magistrates' Court Sentencing Guidelines.
