Teotig: Biography
Description:
This book is about the Armenian Holocaust of 1915. It is also about Teotig and his wife, a husband and wife team who published the popular "Everyone's Almanac" annuals. Teotig survived the Armenian Genocide and in 1919 compiled the first "monument" to the victims of that crime: a biographical work covering over 700 Armenian intellectuals, community leaders, as well as clergymen and women who perished. It included also some survivor accounts. The current work includes a complete translation of the 1919 work, which Teotig called "Monument to April 11".
