Art is a process, not a product. "Preschool Art" contains 200 process-oriented art experiences for children aged 3-6. Using readily available materials, children explore, discover and create open-ended art experiences. There are no adult-made samples to copy - only the imagination of the artist and the materials at hand. Activities range from drawing, painting and sculpture to craft, collage and construction. All the activities are cross-referenced by age, materials needed, amount of preparation time required, type of process - even a recommended time of the year - making it easy to choose the ideal activity to suit your needs.
