Tinka's New Dress (Memory Dress Trilogy)

In Ronnie Burkett's Tink's New Dress a young puppeteer risks his own life and the lives of those around him when he uses his art to fight an insidious enemy cloaked as The Common Good. The play is an homage to the Czech puppeteers who performed illegal shows during the Nazi occupation, and it has pulled the heartstrings of audiences across North America and Europe.

The first installment of The Memory Dress Trilogy, Tinka's New Dress, garnered the Best International Production Award at the Dublin Theatre Festival, five Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards (Edmonton), two Dora Mavor Moore Awards (Toronto) and a Special Citation Obie for distinguished achievement in Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway productions.
