Women in Trouble: Connecting Women`s Law Violation to their Histories of Abuse

This book addresses two areas of feminist scholarship—the recognition of violence against women and the endeavor to make visible the lives of women in prison. Beginning with personal accounts of trouble with the law and using a combination of socialist and standpoint feminism, the collection presents the stories of 24 incarcerated women.
