Hollihan re-creates this heroic legend's life in a narrative form. Although the author includes a disclaimer that the dialogue is fictionalized as little as possible, Crazy Horse reads as easily as a good novel. In an authentic and convincing manner, Hollihan introduces the leader as a compelling historical figure and encapsulates the meaningful events, accomplishments, and battles of his life.
