Re- enacting a piece from the 1970s, Jackson crashed a radio-controlled, 15 foot wingspan model airplane filled with paint into a 20 foot high wall emblazoned with the phrase accidents in abstract painting. Featuring dramatic photo images of the accident, the six hour set up, and the subsequent installation of its detritus at the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, this unique exhibition catalog is an artifact of the event and its aftermath.
