Edwin Booth: A Play in Two Acts

"Edwin Booth" among other things retells one of the greatest stories in American history: the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. Edwin Booth was the most famous actor of his day. His brother, John Wilkes Booth, also an actor, shot Lincoln. Edwin Booth, with his high ideals, would go on to establish his own classic theater in New York though it bankrupted him.
