Aikman Mind Body and Soul
Description:
The oversized, 128-page pictorial book was published in 1998, two years before the end of Troy Aikman's career as the legendary quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. Aikman participated fully in the book-all the text is in first person. He discusses his life, hopes and dreams. He tells what it's like to compete at the highest level of football, for the most glamorous team. He shares moments of reflection and introspection. Aikman's text is supported by more than 200 photographs from both his personal collection and from the camera of award-winning photographer Marc Serota, who had behind-the-scenes access to Aikman and the Cowboys. The book was produced by Rare Air Media, a publishing company highly regarded for its big, bold, photo-driven books on sports celebrities, including Michael Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., Dan Marino, Mario Andretti and Aikman. The publisher was EGI Productions, which no longer is in business.
