The Earp Curse

The fully documented account, naming names and presenting copies of supporting documentation, of the amazing, remarkably vicious and sometimes illegal attacks made on the work, and person, of Earp authority Glenn G. Boyer by a variety of obviously jealous adversarial persons who have attempted to appropriate the monumental research and publications of this friend of the Earp family. Boyer, through access to formerly closely-held Earp family information brought to the world since his first publication in 1967 (of Suppressed Murder of Wyatt Earp) an astounding array of formerly unknown information about the American Folk Hero, Wyatt Earp, his family and associates. This book identifies what those discoveries were, and details the machinations of the individuals cited who, attempting to appropriate credit for themselves, and failing that, then attempted to discredit the sources, and sometimes (contradictorily) both at once, obviously hoping that they would not be detected. This book explodes the hypocrisy of the whole sordid business.
