Jamil's Clever Cat

Sadul is the cleverest cat in town. When he learns that his master, Jamil the weaver, dreams about marrying a princess, he resolves to make Jamil's wish come true. The story of how Sadul makes Jamil appear to be the richest man in the world is told against a backdrop of glowing cut paper collages and paintings. This story, an Indian folk tale reminiscent of Puss in Boots, is a feast for the eyes. Ages 4-8.
