Noise Control: A Guide for Workers and Employers

Noise Control describes frequently occurring sources of noise in the work environment, and engineering and design measures that can be implemented to reduce or eliminate noise. A new chapter, "What is Required in the OSHA Standards," discusses the legal limits on noise, monitoring, an audiometric testing program, hearing protectors workers' rights under OSHA, and OSHA's new 2002 recordkeeping requirements. The chapters, "How to Make Noise Measurements" and "How to Solve Noise Problems" were revised and updated.
