In this book of verses, author Jed "Duffy the Clown" Selter creates a travel diary filled with heart-felt impressions of life in an area of Vietnam still battling the effects of Agent Orange and active land mines more than 25 years after the end of the Vietnam War. For this memorable trip of a lifetime, Duffy and the clowns joined forces with the Kids First Education Project, Vietnam, a nonprofit humanitarian organization, to bring goodwill to the most underdeveloped areas of Vietnam. Intent on spreading good humor and cheer to Vietnamese citizens who had never before seen men with grease painted faces wearing funny costumes, "Duffy" and his 3 clown companions communicated through the international language of laughs and smiles to heal children and elders - as well as the clowns themselves. Proceeds from the sale of this book will support the Kids First Education Project, Vietnam, which is dedicated to building privately funded schools and rehabilitation centers in needy areas of Vietnam.
