This biography, or story, is more a collective history of a community, in the way it deals with the drama of a group of people surrounding the life of one Commander E.C. "Zeke," Cortez, Jnr., USNR, commonly known to his family -- according to his cousin, Jose Garcia -- as "Junior." It is, in fact, a living history as well as a true dedication by that community, to a well loved member who is always "there," to help the down-trodden and lame-ducks, and who is always ready to offer advice and to be a friend.
