Avalanche in the Alps (The Explorers Club)

This cross-curriculum series, with titles suitable for use in reading, language arts, and science classes, introduces geography and weather through the adventures of the Explorers Club's four members. The books are developed in cooperation with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the U.S. Government agency responsible for monitoring global weather and ocean and river activities.

The Explorers Club visits the Swiss Alps, where they encounter an avalanche, and where the Club leader, Amy, conquers her fear of heights.
