Zangbu's Story

Zangbu's story began when one of the world's most extraordinary individuals, Sir Edmund Hillary, with Tensing Sherpa as his guide, became the first human to clim Mount Everest, the highest point on earth. This might have been achievement enough for an ordinary hero, but not for Sir Edmund. He had fallen in love with the Sherpa people and would return to Nepal again and again to build schools for their children. Ang Zangbu Sherpa is one of those children who benefited from this man's great vision of the potential of Nepal's youth.
