The collapse: An FDNY saga

You know the ending of The Collapse at the very beginning. Fie men, five very good men die. They went into a building to do their jobs.. and they died. They were members of the FDNY, experienced ghetto firefighters who worked out of the Fire Factory in Harlem.. but they could have been firefighters from any firehouse in any department in any city or town. That's the way the job is. They died in the collapse of a building that stored plumbing supplies and appliances.
