Six Bridges of Humphrey the Whale

In October of 1985, a young humpback whale, who came to be known as Humphrey, left the Pacific Ocean to swim up the Sacramento River - and into the hearts of people the world over. Whatever his motivation to explore a world other than his own - some say he was lost and confused; others believe he was simply curious and wanted a change - his story consumed the lives of biologists, reporters, and children until he was safely escorted back to sea.
