Orthodox Prayer Book: For Use By the Faithful of the Holy Eastern Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church

This is a bilingual pocket-sized prayerbook bound in flexible white vinyl containing frequently-used prayers for Orthodox Christians to use at home and church. It contains the daily morning and evening prayers, pravers for various needs and occasions, examination of concience for confession, plus the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, as it is celebrated in Slavic tradition. English is the primary language, but most of the prayers also appear in Old Church Slavonic (ancient Russian) on the facing page. The first edition was published in 1948 under the auspices of the Russian Metropolia in America, now known as the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). The English prayers use traditional Elizabethan forms.
