Glad to be Me

For various reasons, Luis has developed a low self-image. This changes when his counselor helps him discover ways to feel good about himself. Luis learns that everyone doesn't have to like him and, when he likes himself, the other kids like him better. Through attractive graphics and exercises, readers are encouraged to share their feelings and learn ways to feel better about themselves. This self-esteem presentation is specifically directed to boys. (Grades 3-4)
