My Story

Buddy experiences many changes when his parents decide to divorce. At first he believes that his parents may get back together if he is really good. He later moves in with his Dad and learns to share his home with his Dad's new wife and her daughter. With the help of a counselor, they all learn to live together. Buddy learns that divorce hurts, but can make both parents happier and life can get better. Interesting activities encourage readers to express feelings about their own lives. (Grades 2-4)
