Plinio: A Man for Our Times

Plinio is the faith-filled and action-packed life of Professor Plinio Correa de Oliveira (1908-1995), a Catholic leader who dedicated his life to counter the liberal, atheistic, egalitarian and secularist culture of the twentieth century. While still a young boy, gifted with a brilliant mind and a a rare gift of discernment, Professor Correa de Oliveira fell in love with the remnants of Christian civilization and pledged his life to defend it. With a determination rare in men, and supported by a tender devotion to the Mother of God, he confronted the errors of his times with great sagacity and wisdom, taking every opportunity to force the Church's enemies to retreat. Among his many accomplishments, Professor Correa de Oliveira is the founder of the Brazilian Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP), and inspirer of autonomous sister organizations in 25 countries around the world. In this book, the author sought to convey, in a condensed and simple style, the sage of a man whose life is truly an inspiration and example for militant Catholics today.
