Hartmut Roeder devoted his career to photographing the most beautiful and distant regions of earth, and in this volume, he turns his lens on The Land Down Under. The Australian continent has been separated from the rest of the world by the surrounding oceans for 200 million years. This isolation has led to the evolution of some of the world's most unique flora and fauna. Endless forests and rain-forests contrast with extreme desert regions, all giving rise to an unequalled variety of plants.
